We build doors in solid Western Red Cedar, a wood with straight, coarse, amber-to-brown variation, in any style and size.

Western Red Cedar weighs about 23 lb per cubic foot and has a Janka hardness of 350 lbf. Rot resistance is excellent; thujaplicins make it decay-resistant. For finish, it holds paint and solid stain well; bleeds tannin if primed poorly.
