Solid-Wood Cabinet Doors,
Made to Your Exact Sizes

Every cabinet door is made to order in our Pennsylvania shop, built to your exact width and height in 1/16 in. increments and joined with true cope-and-stick construction. Choose the door style, panel layout, hardwood and finish above, and the designer prices your doors instantly as you build them.

We build in paint-grade poplar and stain-grade hardwoods — the oaks, maple, cherry, walnut, mahogany and more — with no minimum quantity, whether you need one replacement door or a full kitchen.

Custom solid-wood cabinet doors handcrafted by Estate Millwork

Why solid wood

A solid-wood cabinet door is milled from real hardwood stiles, rails and panels, not a photograph laminated onto particleboard. It can be sanded, stained or repainted, resists chipping at the edges and holds its detail for decades. Thermofoil and laminate doors cannot be refinished when they wear.

About our hardwoods

We mill from rough kiln-dried stock and hand-select every board for grain and color before it enters production. Paint-grade poplar, red and white oak, maple, cherry, walnut and mahogany are all in regular inventory, with beadboard, V-groove and raised or flat panels available in each.

Machining & hand joinery

Cabinet doors are joined with true cope-and-stick construction so the frame and panel lock together cleanly, with a floating panel that expands and contracts without cracking the finish. We cut crisp profiles on our shapers and hand-fit every door before it ships.

Performance & finishing

Doors ship with a 150-grit final sand ready for your finish, or primed, painted and finished by us. We match species, style, panel profile and finish so replacement or additional doors blend seamlessly with an existing kitchen.

Applications and Configurations

Our cabinet doors suit kitchens, baths, vanities, laundry rooms, built-ins and furniture. Flat panel, raised panel, beadboard, V-groove and louvered styles are available with matching drawer fronts — the designer above shows the valid sizes and options for each build.

Interior Specifications

Cabinet doors are an interior product and allow the widest material and finish selection. For high-humidity baths and laundry rooms we recommend a stable species and a durable finish; ask us about the best pairing for your room.

Material, Grain and Finish Selection

Choose paint-grade or stain-grade construction. Stock is conditioned for stable fabrication, then selected for color and grain consistency; matching and sequencing can be discussed for large runs and prominent installations.

Custom Cabinet Doors and Design Assistance

We machine solid door and drawer-front profiles with dedicated tooling and can match an existing profile or historic detail. Matching drawer fronts, doors and related millwork can be specified together. Call 412-641-0177 for assistance.

Premium Cabinet Door Construction

Architects, cabinetmakers, builders and homeowners specify Estate Millwork because we mill premium hardwood from rough stock in Pennsylvania, controlling quality, moisture, fresh glue surfaces and climate throughout production.

Our cabinet doors use precise cope-and-stick joinery, custom sizing in 1/16 in. increments and American manufacture. Priming, painting and finishing options are available where appropriate.
