We build fixed and operable shutters in premium hardwoods and weatherproof Azek, in any size, with no minimum order — from a single accent pair to a whole facade of matched millwork.
A real shutter is a structural piece of joinery built to hang, close and weather for decades — not a vinyl decoration screwed flat to the wall. Solid stiles, rails and louvers joined with mortise-and-tenon carry hardware, take paint and refinishing, and read as authentic from the street.
We build in durable, decay-resistant hardwoods and in cellular Azek for the harshest exposures. Every board is hand-selected and milled from kiln-dried stock; Azek is cut and assembled with the same joinery so it never rots, warps or feeds insects.
Louvers are individually machined and seated in deep mortises cut into the stiles; every joint uses true mortise-and-tenon construction with exterior-rated waterproof adhesive. Each shutter is hand-assembled and checked for square before it ships.
Exterior shutters ship primed or fully finished in your color, built with exterior-rated adhesive and coatings for years of sun, rain and coastal exposure. Operable hardware, fixed mounting and a range of top and bottom shapes are all available.
Our shutters suit windows, doors and openings on any facade. Louvered, board-and-batten, raised panel, Bahama, Bermuda, combination, arched and flat panel styles are available fixed or operable — the designer above shows the valid sizes, louver options and shapes for each build.
Exterior and coastal openings require a durable species or Azek, exterior-rated adhesive and finish, and detailing suited to the exposure. Contact us when hurricane, humidity or salt-air conditions affect the specification.
Choose a stain-grade hardwood, paint-grade construction or weatherproof Azek. Stock is conditioned for stable fabrication and selected for color and grain; matching across a full facade can be sequenced on request.
