Estate Millwork manufactures elegant beadboard cabinet doors from solid hardwood with true rail and stile joinery. Our beadboard cabinet doors can be ordered in any size in a variety of styles and include custom moulded 3/8 beadboard. Beadboard cabinetry is a traditional cabinet style and is featured as vernacular in Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, the Hamptons and many shore and lake locations. The beadboard field is not plywood, veneer or cheap thermafoil, but rather individually molded tongue and groove beadboard which gives the cabinet doors true authenticity and depth of detail. Our finishing options include any Sherwin Williams Color, as well as unfinished, primed, or clear coat stain. In addition to beadboard cabinet doors, you can complete your kitchen design using our beadboard drawer fronts.
The easiest way to reface an entire kitchen, bathroom or vanity using beadboard cabinet doors is to measure the largest width and length of each existing cabinet door, usually on the back, or closing face of the door. You can use our web app to quickly enter your dimensions and material preferences to get an instant price and rendering (in the exact color and style/) of your replacement cabinet doors. In most cases, the exsiting cabinet hinges can be reused when you install the new cabinet doors. Our beadboard cabinet doors can be manufactured in any size and can be ordered at full wall size to make elegant beadboard wainscoting as well.
Our beadboard cabinet door frames an be ordered in any thickness and any rail and stile dimensions. Each rail is machined with a true monolithic tenon and each stile has matching true mortises machined to achieve the tightest, strongest furniture-grade joint. The beadboard field in the cabinet door is crafted from individual boards molded with a 3/8 bead and set in a floating field mortise to allow for the minor expansion and contraction of wood in changing environments. The lumber we use is FAS clear grade and you can select from over 15 species including Hard Maple, White Oak, Mahogany, and Teak. Refacing existing cabinetry is an affordable way to upgrade the visual aesthetic and functionality of existing kitchen, bath and built-in cabinet doors.
Each set of custom cabinet doors we sell is hand-crafted using strong, beautiful, top-grade hardwood. An Estate Millwork door is made from solid wood rails and stiles, and is assembled using a time-tested method of peg-and-hole construction: mortise-and-tenon joinery. This assembly technique, which dates back to ancient China, is the strongest, most durable way to build fine home furnishings.
"No shortcuts" is our motto at Estate Millwork. We refuse to sell any customer a set of cabinet doors made from faux wood or veneers. We require careful, precise measuring and sawing -- because cabinet doors must fit perfectly to operate. We also frown upon slapdash assembly techniques that require glue or other cheap adhesives. Our heirloom-quality custom cabinet doors will last for generations to come, and with very little maintenance.

Eco-consciousness doesn't stop there. The plant where we make our cabinet doors has strict recycling requirements. If our workers have wood scraps left over after making cabinet doors, they either use them in shutters, or burn them to fuel the plant. Plant managers enforce temperature controls throughout the year, and strategically schedule work shifts to ensure maximum fuel efficiency.
