About the TS4000 Profile
The TruStile TS4000 is a four-panel Colonial interior door — a profile with roots in 18th-century American architecture and one that has remained in continuous production for over two hundred years. Four equal vertically stacked panels give the door a crisp, balanced presence appropriate for traditional, Colonial Revival, and transitional interiors. Estate Millwork replicates this geometry exactly, with stile widths and rail heights matched to TruStile's standard TS4000 dimensions.
Solid Wood for a Traditional Profile
- Historical accuracy. Original Colonial doors were solid wood. When a renovation or historic project requires period-correct material, MDF is not appropriate. Our solid hardwood equivalent is period-accurate as well as functional.
- Stain and grain. A four-panel door in Poplar for paint-grade or Cherry for stain-grade is a legitimate millwork specification. MDF limits you to paint-grade only.
- Custom sizing for non-standard openings. Colonial-era homes rarely have standard 80" door heights. Estate Millwork builds to any rough opening — an advantage in renovation work where TruStile's standard sizing often requires field modification.
