About the TS2000 Profile
The TruStile TS2000 is a two-panel interior door with equal-height flat panels — a classic proportional relationship used in transitional, Craftsman, and contemporary interiors. Its simplicity makes it versatile: it reads as modern in a minimalist space and as traditional when paired with casings and period hardware. Estate Millwork's equivalent matches the stile width, rail height, and overall panel proportion of TruStile's standard TS2000 profile.
The Hardwood Advantage
- Two panels, twice the grain impact. A 2-panel door in figured Mahogany or quarter-sawn White Oak has a vertical rhythm that MDF simply cannot produce. The grain direction across each panel face becomes a design feature.
- Stainable to match existing millwork. When a renovation requires matching existing stained woodwork, MDF is not an option. Our solid hardwood equivalent can be stained to any color, providing a seamless match to existing millwork, cabinetry, or flooring.
- Refinishable. Estate Millwork solid wood doors can be sanded and refinished decades later. MDF laminate delaminates and cannot be meaningfully refinished once the surface layer is compromised.
