The TruStile TS5000 is a five-panel interior door with five equal flat panels stacked vertically. The profile draws on Federal-period American door design and is well-suited to traditional residential interiors. With five equal panel fields, the door has a refined vertical rhythm that suits taller ceilings and larger openings particularly well. Estate Millwork's equivalent matches TruStile's stile widths, rail heights, and panel proportions in solid hardwood.
Five Panels in Real Wood
- Premium species for period interiors. A 5-panel door in Cherry, Walnut, or Mahogany is a natural fit for Federal and Georgian Revival interiors where hardwood millwork is the standard. MDF cannot replicate the warmth or figure of these species.
- Consistent finishing across a large surface. Five flat panels represent significant surface area. In solid hardwood, the stain color and finish build evenly across all panels. MDF shows visible grain inconsistency at stile-panel transitions when finished with anything other than paint.
