TruStile TS3070 — Solid Hardwood 3-Panel Stacked Alternative
The TruStile TS3070 is a three-panel interior door with stacked proportions — two shorter panels at top and a tall panel at the bottom. This Mediterranean proportion is a common residential specification. Estate Millwork builds the identical geometry in solid hardwood: same rail heights, same stile width, your choice of wood and finish.

About the TS3070 Profile
The TruStile TS3070 is a three-panel stacked interior door with a distinctive bottom-heavy proportion: two shorter panels in the upper portion and one tall panel occupying the lower section. This profile references traditional Mediterranean and Spanish Colonial door design, where heavier base panels ground the door visually. It is frequently specified in traditional, Mediterranean Revival, and Spanish-influenced residential interiors.
Why Material Choice Matters for the TS3070
- The tall bottom panel is the focal point. On a TS3070, the large lower panel dominates the door face. In solid hardwood, this panel shows full grain figure — a dramatic design element in Cherry, Walnut, or Mahogany that MDF cannot replicate.
- Stain compatibility. Projects in traditional or Mediterranean styles almost always incorporate stained wood. MDF cannot be stained to match existing millwork, flooring, or cabinetry. Our solid wood equivalent matches the stain finish of any other millwork in the project.
- Panel geometry is exact. Our TS3070 PMX configuration sets the top panel at 20%, middle at 20%, and bottom at 60% of the door height — matching TruStile's published stacked proportions.
