 Exterior Wood ShuttersOur exterior wood shutters are milled from solid, whole cut cedar or other premium woods, and are the most authentic and elegant hand crafted exterior shutters available on the market today. We complement our elegant millwork with a line of exterior shutter hardware that adds functionality and historical authenticity.
Our exterior wood shutters are built with fine hand craftsmanship, premium grade solid hardwoods, and full pegged mortise and tenon joinery. In order to withstand the elements, each component is carefully hand jointed before being precision machined with state of the art CNC equipment. Raised panel exterior shutters are constructed from our sturdy mortise and tenon frames, and carefully matched raised panels that are hand made with interlocking spline joints. None of our products ever use metal fasteners or dowels, and as a result, our wood shutters last and last, resisting fungus, rot, and insects. Customers have the option of selecting component priming and painted shutter finishes to match any color. Our exterior louvered shutters, including our Bahama and Bermuda shutters, are also constructed from sturdy mortise and tenon frames, but also have deep set bullnose louvers that can be fixed at any pitch, or fitted with adjustable lift rods to make fully operable (opening and closing) louver fields. For the less formal home styles, we offer Board and Batten wooden shutters that are composed of tight fighting tongue and grove joists -- again, each part is carefully machined on our state of the art CNC equipment. Louvered DoorsOur louvered doors and custom doors are made with the highest standards of quality, including solid hardwood louvered door construction, true mortise and tenon joinery, and elaborate raised panel door profiles. You can use our interior door designer to quickly design and price your project.
Our louvered doors are constructed from old growth, premium grade solid hardwoods. These elegant custom doors include double mortise and tenon joinery, a wide selection of louver profiles and sizes, and can be ordered natural, primed, or painted. We can accommodate staining on larger custom orders. Our louvered doors have been used in top grade commercial construction, high end residential and many other applications where the beauty and durability of true solid wood louvered doors is required. Each wood louvered door is hand assembled and hand finished, and is built to the precise dimensional specifications of the customer, including rail placement, stile dimensions, louver pitch, louver size, and louver profile. Just like our louvered shutters, these exterior and interior louvered doors can be fitted with operable lift rods, faux lift rods, privacy panels and a wide range of other customizations.
